These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vetāsa. Please read them before using the service.

01Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Vetāsa, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you may not use our service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vetāsa.

02Eligibility

To use Vetāsa, you must meet these requirements:

  • Age: At least 18 years old (minimum legal age for marriage in India)
  • Intent: Genuinely seeking matrimonial alliance
  • Location: Primarily focused on users in India
  • Legal Capacity: Legally able to enter into binding contracts
  • One Account: One person, one account policy
  • Marital Status: Only unmarried, divorced, or widowed individuals

03Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and truthful information in your profile
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Updating your information as circumstances change
  • Not sharing your account with others
  • Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized access

04Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Vetāsa only for genuine matrimonial purposes:

  • Be respectful and courteous to other users
  • Communicate with serious matrimonial intent
  • Respond to interests and messages in a timely manner
  • Maintain appropriate and professional communication
  • Report suspicious or inappropriate behavior

05Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Create fake profiles or provide false information
  • Upload photos that are not your own
  • Harass, stalk, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Use the service for commercial or promotional purposes
  • Send spam, solicitations, or advertisements
  • Request money or financial information from other users
  • Share explicit, offensive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to access unauthorized areas or data
  • Create multiple accounts
  • Use automated tools or bots
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

06Prohibited Content

You may not upload or share:

  • Explicit or sexual content
  • False or misleading information
  • Photos of other people without permission
  • Content that violates intellectual property rights
  • Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities
  • Hate speech or discriminatory content
  • Violent or graphic content

07Verification Policy

To ensure platform safety:

  • We may verify your identity using government ID documents
  • Verification is mandatory for full platform access
  • We may remove unverifiable accounts
  • Providing fake documents is grounds for immediate termination
  • We reserve the right to request additional verification at any time

08Intellectual Property

Content ownership and licensing:

  • You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, profile information)
  • You grant Vetāsa a license to use your content to provide and improve services
  • Vetāsa owns all platform content, design, logos, and trademarks
  • You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our platform content
  • User-generated content may be used for promotional purposes with consent

09Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent or fake profile
  • Harassment or abusive behavior
  • Multiple user reports or complaints
  • Failure to complete verification
  • Illegal activities
  • Any reason we deem necessary for platform safety

You may also delete your account at any time from Settings.

10Disclaimer of Warranties

Important limitations:

  • Vetāsa is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee that you will find a compatible match
  • We do not verify the accuracy of all user information
  • We are not responsible for user interactions or outcomes
  • The service may experience interruptions or errors
  • We do not guarantee compatibility or relationship success

11Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:

  • Vetāsa is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for user behavior or offline interactions
  • We are not liable for any disputes between users
  • You use the service at your own risk
  • Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the service

12Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

Legal jurisdiction and dispute handling:

  • These terms are governed by the laws of India
  • Courts in Telangana, India have exclusive jurisdiction
  • Disputes will be resolved through arbitration when possible
  • You agree to attempt mediation before legal proceedings
  • Class action lawsuits are not permitted

13Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms:

  • You will be notified via in-app notification and email
  • Changes take effect 30 days after notification
  • Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
  • Material changes may require explicit re-acceptance
  • Previous versions will be archived and available on request
